This panel, held in June 2008, was the first of its kind to be held before the UN Human Rights Council. The IIMMHR was represented on the panel by Jashodhara Dasgupta. Also present was Paul Hunt, the former Special Rapporteur on the Right to Health, and one of IIMMHR's co-founders.
